Roberto Burguet

Roberto Burguet has been a member of the Institute since 1992. His research areas are microeconomic theory and industrial economics with an especial emphasis on information economics. His work deals with several issues in auction theory and procurement. Other areas in which he has contributed recently include labor and environmental economics. Before joining the Institute, Roberto Burguet was member of the Department of Economics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He has also been visiting professor at Colegio de México, University College Dublin, INSEAD, University of Arizona, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
