Matthew Ellman is a tenured scientist at the Institut d’Anàlisi Econòmica (CSIC). Previously, he worked as assistant professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (1999-2006), as Ramón y Cajal Researcher at the Institut d’Anàlisi Econòmica (2006-8) and as lecturer and associate of the Serra-Ramoneda Chair (2008-10).

Prof. Ellman has refereed for many international journals including the American Economic Review, the American Political Science Review, the Economic Journal, Experimental Economics, Games and Economic Behavior, the Journal of Economics, Behavior and Organization, and the Scandinavian Journal of Economics.
