Fabrizio Germano is Associate Professor of Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Affiliated Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics. He holds a PhD (1996) from the University of California, San Diego.
Prior to joining Universitat Pompeu Fabra he held positions at Tel Aviv University and Université Catholique de Louvain. He has been research fellow or visiting professor at numerous institutions including the Institute for Advanced Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, the IMéRA Institute for Advanced Studies at Aix-Marseille Université, and the European University Institute in Florence.
His research interests are in game theory and the economics of mass media, and his research has been published in journals such as the Economic Journal, Journal of Public Economics, Games and Economic Behavior, International Journal of Game Theory, and the Journal of Economic Theory.
