Professors Rosa Ferrer (UPF and BSE) and Joan Monràs (UPF and BSE) have each been awarded a prestigious Leonard Grant by BBVA Foundation in the 2024 edition.
Leonardo Grants support mid-career researchers whose work demonstrates "highly innovative scientific, technological or cultural production."
Professor Ferrer's Leonard Grant will support her research on “New Tools to Estimate the Demand and Supply of Video Content: Heterogeneous Consumers, Gender, and Social Media Effects,” while Professor Monràs will pursue his project, “Investigating the Implications of the Demand for Housing for Welfare Inequality.”
Rosa Ferrer and Joan Monràs are both faculty members of the Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and Associate Research Professors of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE)
