The Barcelona Economics Summer Schools offer one-week courses in Economics, Finance, Data Science, and related fields. The 2021 edition will take place from June 28 through July 16, and all courses will be conducted online.

Online summer school courses from the BSE will connect you with the latest research, insights, and techniques from leading academics and practitioners, as well as colleagues in your field from all over the world!

Choose courses from one program, or mix and match

Summer courses are grouped into programs around a specific topic. You can choose to register for one or more courses in a single program, or you can mix and match courses from the different programs (schedule permitting). Each course is an intensive, one-week seminar that combines theory and practice.

The courses are perfect for busy professionals who wish to sharpen their skills and enhance their knowledge in the latest research within their field, but do not have the time to undertake extensive academic courses.

PhD and other postgraduate students also benefit from the summer school, as it provides an opportunity to discuss the latest developments in theories and theses face-to-face with prominent researchers from around the world.

Some participants are still in graduate school, while others have several years of experience in academic or professional careers.
