PhD Programs

There are two doctoral programs in the Barcelona School of Economics research community:
uab

International Doctorate in Economic Analysis (IDEA) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)

upf

PhD Program in Economics, Finance and Management at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF)

Both IDEA and the UPF PhD program are organized jointly with BSE. Many faculty members of both programs are affiliated with BSE and teach in BSE’s Master’s programs, executive education courses, and Summer Schools.

How to apply to PhD programs

The IDEA program at UAB has its own admissions process.
