About our speaker

Richard Blundell was a guest speaker at the Barcelona Economics Lecture in 2005. Prof. Blundell is the David Ricardo Professor of Political Economy at University College London and the Director of the ESRC Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He has received multiple prestigious awards for achievements in the field of ecomonics e.g. CBE (2006), Yrjö Jahnsson Award (1995), the Econometric Society's Frisch Medal (2000), the Jean-Jacques Laffont Prize (2008).
