Nicholas Stern (London School of Economics) was a guest speaker at the Barcelona Economics Lecture in 2004. Prof. Stern´s primary fields of interest are The Economics of Climate Change; Economic Development and Growth; Economic Theory; Tax Reform; Public Policy; The Role of the State and Economies in Transition. He has received multiple prestigious awards for achievements in the field of ecomonics e.g. Lifetime Achievement Award - Business Green Leaders Awards (2016), Best Use of Evidence Award - Political Studies Association (2016).
