Rosemarie Nagel is an ICREA Research Professor at UPF and BSE Research Professor and she is one of the directors of the Behavioral Experimental Sciences Laboratory (BESLab).

Her research focuses on building bridges between economic theory and human behavior through experimental designs, and cognitive models with game theory, psychology, and laboratory, field, and neuroscientific tools. She co-organizes experimental and macro or computational economics workshops and summer schools. Her approaches are applied in micro-, macro-, and computational-economics; finance; neuroeconomics; management; psychology; and computer science.

She is also a Fellow of the Econometric Society.
