Ruben Enikolopov is an ICREA Research Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), a Research Professor of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE), and a Researcher at the Barcelona Institute for Political Economy and Governance (IPEG).

He is also a Visiting Professor and Academic Supervisor at the New Economic School (NES), a Research Fellow of CEPR and CESifo, and a Senior Fellow at the Rimini Centre for Economic Analysis.

Professor Enikolopov’s research interests include Political Economy, Economics of Mass Media, Development Economics, and Corporate Finance.

He is a Co-Editor of the Journal of Comparative Economics and the Chair of the Board of the Review of Economic Studies. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals, among them the Journal of European Economic Association, the Russian Journal of Economics, and Applied Econometrics.

Enikolopov also serves on the Armenian Prime Minister’s Economic Policy Council and is an advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In the past, he has also been a consultant to the World Bank (2005-10) and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (2007-08).
