Teaching at the Barcelona School of Economics

Gabriel Pérez-Quirós is a Senior Researcher in the Macroprudential Policy Division of the Bank of Spain.

He also worked as an advisor of the Secretary of State of Economics and in the Economic Bureau of the Spanish Prime Minister. He has been a consultant for the European Commission, the European Central Bank, the United Nations and the World Bank. He was a member of the Scientific Committee of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network. He is a Research Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and was co-editor of SERIES, Journal of the Spanish Economic Association, and Associate Editor of Macroeconomics Dynamics.
