Michael Creel is a professor at the Department of Economics and Economic History at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and a Barcelona School of Economics Affiliated Professor. He received his PhD in 1990 at the University of California, Davis. Outside of economics, he is the lead developer of the PelicanHPC distribution of Linux. He is a research fellow of MOVE (Markets, Organizations and Votes in Economics).
