Theodor Vladasel is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a BSE Affiliated Professor.

Before coming to Barcelona, Theodor was a Fox International Fellow at Yale University. He is also affiliated with the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI), Stockholm University.

His research examines the individual and contextual drivers of entrepreneurship, distinguishing growth oriented entrepreneurship from self-employment, as well as the strategic human capital entrepreneurs must acquire for their (social) ventures to be successful, and maintains a broad interest in the relationship between individuals and organizations. His research uses insights from labor economics and applies experimental and econometric methods to questions of strategic and policy importance.
