This intensive five-day course offers a comprehensive overview of the private equity (PE) industry, focusing on the practical aspects of deal structuring, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), financial engineering, recapitalizations, distressed investing, and strategic exits. Designed for students with a solid background in corporate finance, the course equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the full lifecycle of private equity transactions.
Each morning, participants will attend a series of lectures and case discussions that delve into critical topics. In the afternoons, students will engage in practical exercises and Excel-based case work, applying their knowledge to build financial models and analyze real-world PE transactions. These interactive sessions are designed to foster hands-on learning in LBO valuation and modeling and leveraged recapitalization strategies.
By the end of the course, participants will gain a robust understanding of private equity’s operational and financial strategies, allowing them to critically evaluate investment opportunities and execute complex PE deals from acquisition to exit.
