  • Students with a corporate finance background and are interested in the private equity transaction lifecycle.

Gain a comprehensive overview of PE transactions and their full lifecycle, from acquisition to exit

Upon completion of this course, you will :

  • Have a deep understanding of private equity deal processes and strategies.
  • Gain practical knowledge and skills in financial modeling, LBO valuation, and strategic exits.
  • Gain the ability to critically evaluate PE investment opportunities and execute complex deals​.

The course combines morning lectures and case discussions with afternoon practical exercises.

Participants utilize Excel in afternoon sessions to practice financial modeling and deal structuring based on real-world PE scenarios.

  • LBO valuation and modelling
  • Leveraged recapitalization

Requirements

Summer School applicants normally demonstrate one or more of the following:

  • A strong background in Economics or a field closely related to the course topic (Statistics, Law, etc.).
  • Postgraduate degree or current Master’s/PhD studies related to the course topic.
  • Relevant professional experience.

Requirements for Private Equity, Deal Structuring, Recapitalizations, and Exit Strategies

  • Participants must have a strong background in corporate finance.
  • Participants must have a good understanding of accounting.
