Macro Fluctuations with Micro Frictions

The BSE Summer Forum Workshop on Macro Fluctuations with Micro Frictions focuses on the macroeconomic implications of micro-level frictions, including adjustment costs, informational rigidities, search and matching frictions, market power, costly reallocation, irreversibility, corporate taxation, and their interactions with heterogeneity.

Topics of particular interest include price and wagesetting, capital dynamics, labor markets, monopsony, and monopoly. Papers with strong theoretical and quantitative components, grounded in microdata, are encouraged.
