The BSE Summer Forum Workshop on Behavioral Foundations of Information, Attention, and Belief Formation welcomes any paper on topics related to new behavioral foundations of human information processing, attention allocation, and belief formation.
We are especially interested in papers that examine biases and features of information and attention processes (including mental models, narratives, and other frameworks), and papers that study their impact on beliefs and economic decision-making.
The papers may use a variety of methods, including but not limited to experimental methods in the laboratory or in the field, theoretical models, or other methods that combine naturally occurring data or process data.
The workshop will also bring together researchers that study human decision-making, communication, and attention applied to a variety of topics: abstract information problems, labor markets, information markets such as news (and social) media, etc.
