Monetary Policy

The purpose of the BSE Summer Forum Workshop on Monetary Policy is to discuss recent research on Monetary Policy. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• The role played by agents’ heterogeneity and financial frictions
• The challenges imposed by a zero lower bound on interest rates
• International dimensions of central bank policies
• The role of central bank communication
• The design of optimal monetary policy

Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome.
