About our speaker
Lucrezia Reichlin (PhD, New York University) is Professor of Economics at London Business School and a member of the Barcelona School of Economics Scientific Council. Her research interests are applied time series, business cycles, and monetary policy. Together with several co-authors, she has pioneered econometric methods for time series analysis, some of which she later used to develop a framework for "now-casting" or modeling data releases in real time.
Her monetary policy work has focused on documenting monetary analysis at the European Central Bank and understanding the effects of ECB policy during the financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Professor Reichlin is a Fellow of the Econometric Society, British Academy, European Economic Association, Centre for Economic Policy Research, and Academia Europaea.
