About Our Speaker

Silvana Tenreyro (PhD, Harvard University) is a Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics, Leader of the Shifts in the World Economy and their Consequences Program at LSE’s Centre for Macroeconomics (CFM), and Director of Macroeconomics Research at LSE’s International Growth Centre (IGC). From 2017-2023, she was an external member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee.
