Pierre Magontier is an Assistant Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and an Affiliated Professor of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). He is also an Affiliated Researcher at the Institut d’Economia de Barcelona (IEB).

Previously, Professor Magontier was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and the University of Bern.

Magontier’s research explores the forces shaping urban and regional development, drawing on insights from Political Economy and Environmental Economics.
