Liliane is an Antitrust Coordinator at the Chief Economist Team of the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission, in charge of the economic analysis in the Commission’s antitrust cases in the digital and energy sector. She holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), and has more than 10 years of experience in academic research, as well as 6 years of experience in providing economic expertise on antitrust, merger, and state aid cases, both at the European Commission (DG COMP) and at the EFTA Surveillance Authority (Competition & State Aid Directorate).
