About Rosemarie Nagel

Rosemarie Nagel (PhD, University of Bonn) is an ICREA Research Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and a Research Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE).

She is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and the Economic Science Association (ESA).

Professor Nagel’s main research is in Experimental and Behavioral Economics, especially in macroeconomic experiments and in Neuroeconomics.

She originated structuring bounded rationality with the strategy method in simple games and via a step-level reasoning model (also called level-k) in Keynesian Beauty-Contest laboratory-, fMRI-, and large-scale field experiments.
