Graduation ceremony for the BSE Master's Class of 2018
The 11th cohort of BSE masters students graduated on July 9, 2018 at AXA Auditorium. Welcome to the alumni community, Class of 2018!
The Barcelona School of Economics held the graduation ceremony of the 11th cohort of Master's students on July 9, 2018 at AXA Auditorium. Students, faculty, family and friends from all over the world gathered to celebrate the hard work and achievements of this year's class in the Master's Degrees in Economics and Finance, Specialized Economic Analysis, and Data Science.
Certificates were awarded by Josep Armas, Director Territorial Este AXA Seguros, board member institution of the BSE; Ramon Marimon, Chairman of the BSE; AND vice-rectors from the BSE's founding universities, Cristina Gespí (UPF) and Carles Gispert (UAB). Two invited speakers also participated: Kim Faura, Director of Telefónica Catalonia; and Raimundo Pérez-Hernández, Director of the Ramon Areces Foundation. Both Telefónica and the Ramon Areces Foundations provide support for the BSE Master's programs, and AXA is a BSE board member institution.
As every year, one of the highlights of the ceremony was the participation of student and alumni speakers. This year's speakers were (from left):
