About This Workshop

The BSE Summer Forum Workshop on the Economics of Families, Gender, and Work welcomes empirical and theoretical contributions exploring how family decisions, labor market outcomes, and gender roles interact to shape individual well-being and inequality across the life course.

Topics may include fertility and parental investments, the division of labor within households, gender gaps in education and employment, the impact of family policies and social norms, and the intergenerational transmission of human capital.

The workshop aims to foster dialogue among scholars working at the intersection of labor, population, and family economics.
