About our speaker

Robert Porter (PhD, Princeton University) is Professor of Economics at Northwestern University, where he is also co-director of the Center for the Study of Industrial Organization. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society, the Game Theory Society, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His research includes theoretical and empirical studies of collusion, price wars, and bidders’ behavior in auctions.
