Pere Riera is a professor in the Department of Applied Economics at UAB and a member of the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA). He specializes in social cost-benefit analysis and non-market valuation, mainly in the fields of transportation, tourism and the environment. He has over one-hundred academic publications between journal articles and books. Prof. Riera currently lectures at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
