Dr. Adina Claici is a principal with the Brattle Group in Brussels. She helps clients primarily within the field of competition, where she has unique insight into the most recent competition policy developments at EU level. 

Adina has great experience in mergers, anti-trust and state aid cases as well as policy projects, and with the interaction between competition policy and regulation across many sectors.

Before joining Brattle, Dr. Claici was the Managing Director of a European economics consultancy’s Brussels office. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience at DG Competition, where she was a senior member of the Chief Economist Team and served as the coordinator for the European Competition Network of Chief Economists.

Adina is also visiting professor at the College of Europe, Bruges, where she teaches courses on Economics of Competition Policy and Advanced Industrial Organisation.

Recently, Adina wrote a chapter on Big Data and Competition Policy in the e-book Economic Analysis of the Digital Revolution.
