Elena Bortolato is a Post-doctoral Fellow at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and the Data Science Center of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE), where she works with David Rossell (UPF and BSE) and Stephen Hansen (UCL and BSE) on high dimensional graphical models.

Bartolato’s research focuses on Bayesian statistics and machine learning, with particular interests in Bayesian inference, computational methods, and Monte Carlo techniques.

She earned her PhD in Statistics from the University of Padova in 2024.
