Elena Bortolato is a postdoctoral research assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the Barcelona School of Economics, working within the Statistics group with Professor David Rossell and Professor Stephen Hansen (UCL). She earned her PhD in Statistics from the University of Padova in 2024. Her research focuses on Bayesian statistics and machine learning, with particular interests in Bayesian inference, computational methods, and Monte Carlo techniques.
