The BSE Summer Forum Workshop on Preferences, Bounded Rationality, and Strategic Interactions will be held in Barcelona from June 19-21, 2024.
This workshop will have two sections, one that focuses more on preferences and bounded rationality (PBR) and one that focuses more on coordination and social interactions (CSI).
We welcome any paper on topics related to bounded rationality, with a focus on the topics of limited cognition, measures of cognitive abilities, and other traits or skills that affect individual decision making. This includes models of limited attention and applications, as well as models of reference dependence, both in strategic and nonstrategic settings.
The workshop will also bring together researchers that study how different contexts of social interactions (preferences, cognitive skills, personality, institution, culture, etc.) or institutions affect the possibility of solving or mitigating coordination problems.
