The BSE Summer Forum Workshop on Macro Fluctuations with Micro Frictions will take place in Barcelona from June 25-26, 2024.

This workshop focuses on the macroeconomic implications of micro-level frictions, such as adjustment costs, informational rigidities, search and matching frictions, market power, costly reallocation, irreversibility, and corporate taxation. Topics of particular interest include price and wage-setting, capital and labor dynamics, monopsony, and monopoly. Papers with strong theory and quantitative components, disciplined with microdata, are encouraged.
