Marta Troya-Martínez is an Associate Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and an Affiliated Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE) She is also a Research Affiliate at CEPR.

Professor Troya-Martínez’s research focuses on understanding how informal incentives work and which economic consequences they have. She is particularly interested in the provision of incentives in the presence of illegal activities using both theoretical and empirical methods.
