Tatevik Sekhposyan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Texas A&M University, currently visiting Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her research spans applied macroeconomics, time-series analysis (classical and Bayesian), econometrics, and forecasting. Her recent work focuses on the identification of macroeconomic shocks, monetary policy communication, and the broader implications of economic uncertainty. She has also developed tools for model selection and evaluation within the context of time variation, with a specialized focus on predictive density evaluation.
Beyond her research, Dr. Sekhposyan is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and a Fellow of the International Association of Applied Econometrics. She serves as the President of the Armenian Economic Association and has held long-standing leadership roles with the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics. Additionally, she contributes to the field as an associate editor for several leading economic journals.
