Owen Ozier is an Associate Professor of Economics at Williams College. He is also an Affiliate of BREAD, IZA, and J-PAL. His research focuses on health, education, and economic decisions in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is on leave from the World Bank, where he is a Senior Economist in the Development Research Group, Human Development Team. He received his M.Eng. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
