Juan-Pablo Montero (Ph.D. MIT) is Professor of Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC-Chile). In 2019 he has been named Fellow of the Econometric Society. His research work concentrates in industrial organization, environmental economics and resource economics and has appeared in the top economics journals. He is co-author (with Ellerman, Joskow and Schmalensee of the MIT) of Markets for Clean Air. Juan Pablo has been a consultant for the government of Chile, private corporations and international organizations.
