I have worked on competition cases before the European Commission as well as the national competition authorities. My experience includes high-profile mergers, anti-competitive agreements, information exchange, and regulation and spans a wide range of industries, including car rental, express delivery services, eyewear, media, medical devices and telecoms.
From the first week I joined RBB Economics, I have been working on a multibillion dollar merger of two major orthopaedic companies. Until now I have spent most of the time with clients’ transaction data, working mainly on switching analysis, the purpose of which was to determine closeness of competition between the merging parties. Rather than any specific course, I'd say it was the whole experience of completing the BSE curriculum that was most valuable for the challenges I faced early in my job. This training allowed me to become familiar with both heavy workloads and an international environment. Nevertheless, studying hard for both microeconomics and econometrics classes has proven to be great personal investment.
