Gábor Koltay is a senior economist working on antitrust enforcement in digital markets at DG Competition of the European Commission. Gábor has more than 10 years of experience in merger control and antitrust cases, with an emphasis on data analysis. He has worked on several major digital antitrust cases including the Amazon marketplace, Amazon Buy Box, Google advertising technology, Google Shopping and Google AdSense cases. He has a PhD in empirical industrial organization from the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary.
