David Gomtsyan is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Research in International Economics (CREI) and the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE).

His research interests are Urban Economics, Development Economics, and Macroeconomics. His work has been published in the European Economic Review, the Journal of Urban Economics, the Review of Economic Dynamics, and the Scandinavian Journal of Economics.

Gomtsyan earned his PhD at the University of Turin in Italy.
