Mireia Giné is a Professor and Head of the Financial Management Department at IESE Business School. She is a Research Fellow of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). She is also a fellow of CEPR and the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).

She specializes in corporate governance, executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions. Her research has been published in the Journal of Finance, Review of Finance, Harvard Business Review among other academic journals, as well as in various media (Financial Times, The Economist, Bloomberg, BBC).

Giné is a founding member of Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS), where she currently leads the group’s international operations and business development in EMEA.

She is an independent board member of Banc Sabadell.
