Alessandro Ferrari is an Assistant Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and an Affiliated Professor of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). He is also a Research Affiliated of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).

Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Zurich. He has also been a visiting researcher at the Center for Research on International Economics (CREI), Bocconi University, the European University Institute (EUI), and the Clausen Center at the University of California, Berkeley.

Professor Ferrari’s work has been published in the Journal of International Economics, the Journal of Public Economics, and the American Economic Association Papers and Proceedings.
