I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning Local Projection methods. The course provides a very clear introduction to the fundamentals while also covering practical implementation. What I particularly appreciated is how the instructors consistently connect the econometric framework to the broader research literature, which helps participants understand not only how the method works, but also how it is applied in empirical studies. Another strong aspect of the course is the hands-on component. Participants have the opportunity to implement Local Projections using MATLAB with real examples based on existing studies. This practical experience makes it easier for me to understand the concepts and makes them directly applicable to research projects. Overall, this course offers an excellent balance between theory, methodology, and empirical application.
