Carolina Bussotti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Economic History at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB and an Affiliated Professor of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE).

Her research focuses on Macroeconomics and Labor Economics, particularly on firms’ capital investment decisions, labor demand, and wage determination in frictional labor markets.

Professor Bussotti earned her PhD in Economics from the Rome Economics Doctorate (RED) in 2026.
