Giovanni Barci is a Post-doctoral Fellow at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE).

He conducts research on Macroeconomics and Time Series Analysis.

He earned his PhD from Collegio Carlo Alberto. Before joining the BSE research community, he held positions at the European Investment Bank, the Centre for European Policy Studies, and the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association.
