Master Programs Graduation Ceremony 2014
The graduation ceremony for the seventh cohort of BSE masters students was held on Thursday, July 10 at AXA Auditorium, headquarters of BSE board member institution AXA Group.
The 2013-14 master programs were: Competition and Market Regulation; Economics; Economics of Public Policy; Finance; Health Economics and Policy; International Trade, Finance, and Development; and Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets.

The graduation keynote was delivered by Mr. Francisco Reynés, CEO of Abertis, one of the BSE sponsors that supports scholarship funding for top masters students.
Graduation certificates were distributed to students by Mr. Reynés together with Mr. Antonio Jiménez López, Director of AXA in Catalonia; Prof. Ramon Marimon, Chairman of the BSE; and representatives of the two universities promoting the BSE – Dr. Montse Farell, Vicer-Rector of Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona; and Dr. Antoni Bosch, Vice-Rector of Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
After the distribution of certificates, alumnus Guglielmo Bartolozzi '09 welcomed the Class of 2014 to the BSE Alumni community. Then, five of the new graduates addressed their fellow classmates. The speakers were:
- Yacoub Alatrash '14 (Economics)
- Kat Nicholson '14 (International Trade, Finance and Development)
- Muntasir Iqbal '14 (Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets)
- Eleonora Harwich '14 (Master in Economics of Public Policy)
- Christian Murray '14 (Master in Health Economics and Policy)
