A project by Professor Ruben Durante (ICREA-UPF and BSE) is one of 20 selected by BBVA Foundation to receive funding through a special grant program focused on COVID-19. Only 4 out of 370 in the area of Economics and Social Sciences were awarded funding.
Professor Durante's research focuses on "The Impact of COVID-19 on Income Inequality and Consumption Inequality in Spain: Real Time Evidence from Big Data." His team also includes BSE Research Professors Marta Reynal-Querol (ICREA-UPF and BSE) and José G. Montalvo (UPF and BSE).
