Professor Larbi Alaoui (UPF and BSE) has been awarded a Leonard Grant by the BBVA Foundation. Leonardo Grants support mid-career researchers whose work demonstrates "highly innovative scientific, technological or cultural production."

Alaoui's project is called "Models of Cognition, Personality and Economic Behavior." In his research, he will develop a foundational model and connect it with current perspectives on cognition and personality both in Economics and Psychology. Such a model could help inform the design of education or labor policy, for example.
