Prof. Jordi Galí (CREI, UPF and BSE) has been awarded the Creu de Sant Jordi by the Generalitat de Catalunya. This award recognizes the contributions of Jordi Galí to macroeconomics, especially for his analysis of monetary policy, identification and effects of technological shocks, and the estimation of fiscal policy rules in eurozone countries.
