Ramón Areces Foundation Scholarships

Ramón Areces Foundation has funded scholarships for study in the BSE Master's programs since 2010. 

The scholarship includes:

  • All tuition fees for the Master's program
  • Stipend for living expenses

Selection criteria:

  • Outstanding academic background

Selection process:

  • All BSE Master's applicants to the eligible programs will be considered for this and any other merit-based funding opportunities.

Sandeep Achary '23 (PhD Track Program)

  • Citizenship: India
  • Undergraduate Degree: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Indore
  • Further Studies: MSQE in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata

Madalena Gaspar '22 (PhD Track Program)

  • Citizenship: Portugal
  • Undergraduate Degree: Bachelor's in Economics, Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics

Jorge Luis Casanova '21 (Economics Program)

  • Citizenship: Venezuela
  • Undergraduate Degree: Bachelor's in Economics (with honors), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid

Robert Johnson '21 (Economics Program)

  • Citizenship: United Kingdom
  • Undergraduate Degree: Bachelor's in Economics (with honors), Homerton College, University of Cambridge
