Admissions FAQ on coronavirus (COVID-19)

The BSE is closely following the development of COVID-19 (coronavirus) around the world. From our whole admissions team to all Master’s applicants and incoming students, we hope you and your families are healthy and safe.

We want to provide you with clear information about how the BSE is responding to this situation as it relates to the Master’s programs.

Latest status report from BSE Admissions

  • Applications are open and processing as usual.
  • The deadline for rolling admissions has been extended until July 2, 2022.
  • No changes to the 2022-23 Master's academic calendar. Classes will be delivered on campus beginning in September 2022.

Are there any changes to the admissions process due to coronavirus?

The application deadline has been extended. We will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis through July 2, 2022.

All applicants will be considered for admission using the same criteria, regardless of nationality or current place of residence.

My undergraduate school is closed and cannot send my official transcripts to complete my application. What should I do? 

Transcripts are an important part of your application. In these circumstances, we may be able to accept unofficial transcripts. We ask that you submit any verified information you have, and also to contact us at so we can find a solution for your particular case.

I was unable to take the TOEFL or IELTS due to the coronavirus outbreak. How can I submit proof of English proficiency? 

We may be able to accept the Duolingo English test in place of the TOEFL or IELTS. Please note that this only applies to applicants who were unable to take the TOEFL or IELTS due to the coronavirus outbreak. Contact to discuss your particular case.

I am an offer holder. Can I extend my confirmation deadline?
