BSE Affiliated Professor and ADEMU researcher Jordi Caballé (UAB and BSE) examines the effects of migration on unemployment and austerity with co-authors Guilherme Bandeira (Bank of Spain) and Eugenia Vella (University of Sheffield) in a new paper, "Should I Stay or Should I Go? Austerity, Unemployment and Migration." This work is summarized in a new ADEMU Perspectives article on the website of the Horizon 2020 project, A Dynamic Economic and Monetary Union (ADEMU).

ADEMU is a Horizon 2020 European research project whose objective is to reassess the overall fiscal and monetary framework of the EU and, in particular, the euro area. It brings together eight research groups from leading European institutions including the BSE, Catholic University of Portugal, Charles University in Prague, the European University Institute, the Toulouse School of Economics, University College London, the University of Bonn, and the University of Cambridge.
