Times Higher Education

One of the founding universities of the Barcelona School of Economics, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), has been ranked 10th in this year's Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings. The ranking lists the world’s best universities that are 50 years old or younger.

This year's rankings include 414 institutions from all over the world. UPF is ranked 10th in the world, 5th in Europe, and first in Spain.

Both UPF and the BSE's other founding university, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), have ranked well in the THE Young University Rankings over the years. UAB could not be considered for the 2020 edition as the institution is now more than 50 years old.
